Seven weeks of child-led play and exploration, water and outdoor time, shared meals, and the small social circle that makes Starbirds feel like home. A flexible weekly schedule means families pick the weeks that fit.

What the children do
A day full of meaningful play - and gentle work.
Practical life & sensorial
Pouring, scrubbing, food preparation, sorting, fine motor practice - real materials, real tasks, real independence.
Water play
Water tables, water transfer, summer-appropriate sensory exploration. Cooling, satisfying, endlessly absorbing.
Outdoor time
Movement, fresh air, neighborhood walks, nature observation.
Shared meals
A community lunch that builds belonging and conversation.
Language & storytelling
Early literacy, vocabulary, the joy of being read to.
Themed exploration
Gentle deep-dives that follow children's curiosity - ocean life, insects, plants and gardens, summer skies, animals around the world.

How billing works
- $100 deposit per child at registration (applied to tuition)
- July balance due July 1
- August balance due August 1
- Enrollment confirmed by June 1
This split lets families commit to summer weeks without paying for all of them up front - and keeps August flexible into July.
Refund policy
- Before June 1 - deposit & tuition fully refundable
- Jun 1-Jul 1 - July & Aug tuition refundable; deposit non-refundable
- Jul 1-Aug 1 - August tuition still refundable
- After Aug 1 - credit toward future Elements programming
Small group - up to 8 children - If we don't reach our minimum, deposits are refunded in full.
